A quick background
about the band ...
• Last Breath started out in 2003 when 4 friends in high school, who shared a love of music, started jamming covers and then doing the occasional gig. • Brothers James (lead vocals and guitar) and Tom Parkinson (lead guitar and backing vocals) discovered they had a talent for song-writing which they developed over the years and now the band is predominantly an originals band who include some covers (with their own twist) in their live set. • Fast forward to the start of 2011 when the band joined Aspire Music Management, and went from strength to strength including winning 1st prize at the North West Battle of the Bands (run by Lancashire Council), and then the RNLI Secret Sessions Competition which resulted in them supporting Benjamin Francis Leftwich with their Acoustic set • Another eventful year in 2012 which included the release of their 6th single on iTunes, “Under Her Control”, and an official music video for it, in which the band’s co-stars were special guests TV actress and celebrity Hayley Tamaddon and award winning TV and movie actor Daniel Brocklebank, filmed at a castle owned by Secret Millionaire Terry George. • The video of “Under Her Control” caught the attention of Kerrang!TV and has been broadcast on their music channel since the song’s release last August. You can watch it at http://www.youtube.com/LastBreathRock • For Christmas 2012 the band wrote and recorded their first Christmas song “Jingle All The Way” (that video is also on their youtube channel) and donated all proceeds from the sale of the single to Brian House Children’s Hospice Their music has been receiving radio airplay worldwide, they have been featured artists on various stations and have done interviews both here and via skype to the USA. They have singles available on iTunes, will be releasing an EP in April 2013, a music video at the end of the Summer, and an album towards the end of the year.
